Lumbadive invite you to come diving, in the Caribbean , located in beautiful Carriacou Grenada . With the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, the underwater world surrounding Carriacou is rich and diverse. It offers you a beautiful panorama, as much by its colours as by its depth.

You can admire more than 400 different species of shell fish, coral, gorgonians, turtles, rays and fish. As Carriacou is not yet a known Caribbean touristic destination, you can enjoy and experience its unspoiled and healthy richness. There are sites suitable for beginners as well as experienced divers.

There are more than 25 dive sites surrounding Carriacou Island .

Under its calm and crystal clear surface hides marvellous underwater sceneries. Either you like reef dives, wrecks, you are adventurous or enjoy diving with sharks, Carriacou possesses it all to satisfy you.

From a drift dive over a reef to the exploration of a wreck as Boris, you will get wonderful pictures to share.

Courses

SKIN DIVER (Snorkel)

Learn to snorkel. You will watch a video, review equipment, practice skills in our pool and spend time with your instructor in order to master snorkeling techniques.

DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING

Your scuba instructor will spend a little time with you to explain the basic principles of scuba diving and give you an overview of your  scuba gear . You will be taken in the pool to help you learn basic scuba skills. Then, if you like, you can go with your instructor for a short discovery dive up to 40 feet/ 12 metres.

If you've tried diving through a  Discover Scuba Diving experience , the skills you learned may be credited towards a portion of the full PADI Open Water Diver course certification.

 

 

SCUBA DIVER

• This course requires less time than the PADI  Open Water Diver  course, covering only the first three of five sections of  knowledge development ,
• Dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor to a maximum depth of 12 metres / 40 feet
• Obtain air fills, rent or purchase  scuba equipment  and participate in other diving activities as long as they have the required supervision

OPEN WATER

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

• Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving
• Confined Water Dives  to learn basic scuba skills
• Open Water Dives  to review your skills and explore!

 

ADVANCED OPEN WATER

Get more comfortable in the water by completing five adventure dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. If you're looking to build your confidence and gain more experience, this is the natural next.

 

 

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE

Emergency First Response gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies -- not just in the diving world, but in your every day world with your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers too.

Emergency First Response courses encompass:

• CPR courses  for adults, children and infants
• First aid for adults, children and infants
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training

 

EMERGENCY OXYGEN PROVIDER

Be the one ready to help a fellow diver should the need arise by becoming a PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider.

• Recognize diving illnesses treatable by emergency oxygen
• Properly setup equipment
• Administer emergency oxygen

 

RESCUE DIVER

Expand on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur. Learn techniques for self rescue, rescuing panicky divers and unresponsive divers.

• Rescuing panicked divers
• Rescuing unresponsive divers

 

 

DIVE MASTER

You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others  improve their scuba . You put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or series of practical training exercises.

 

 

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE INSTRUCTOR

Gain experience in how to structure learning, the requirements of performance-based training and your role as the instructor in the learning environment for teaching CPR and first aid.

You also learn how to motivate students, evaluate student knowledge, present course content effectively, become proficient in developing students' hands-on skills practice sessions, and are taught how to present an effective scenario-based learning experience.

 

DAN INSTRUCTOR

As a DAN Instructor, you can offer your students nine classes that will help make them safer divers. These classes are:
